Riddhi Dastidar investigated how a nexus of beauty influencers, dermatologists, and wellness clinics combined with grey-area regulations around online promotion has been pulling young Indian women into a cycle of injectables.

Health misinformation is not new but the COVID pandemic really revealed the troubles of "infodemic", a term that the World Health Organisation (WHO) coined for the spurt in fake news and misinformation.
Sana Fazili spoke to Dr Cyriac Philips, a Senior Consultant at The Liver Institute at Kerala's Rajagiri Hospital on how dangerous health misinformation can be and how it can be controlled.
🔖 A morphed photo of pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh was shared on social media with a false claim that it shows the Waris Punjab De (WPD) chief standing in front of a mosque in the United Arab Emirates. BOOM's Anmol Alphonso and Runjay Kumar debunked this claim.
🔖 Ahead of Ramzan, several news outlets claimed that Saudi Arabia has banned the use of loudspeakers. BOOM's Mohammad Salman found that the claims are misleading, and that the government of the country has merely issued guidelines to ensure the sound remains minimal.
